Principal's Greeting

Hello everyone! My name is Janine Suppes and I am lucky enough to be entering my third year as the principal at Walnut Elementary. I have been involved in public education for quite some time, with a diverse background ranging from Kindergarten through 12th grade.

I live in Rock Springs with my husband and our dog, Layla. We have three children and love to visit them and their families when we have the chance. I love animals, fishing, camping, singing, reading, and laughing. I also love being part of the incredible Walnut Elementary School Community, where I get to help students be their best, every day!

I believe it is the mission of every staff member at Walnut Elementary to grow every student who walks through the door so they can reach their maximum potential. I will support the staff, students, and parents to help ensure this is the positive path we are on. At Walnut Elementary School, our purpose is to ensure a quality education with high levels of learning - every student, every day. We take this to heart, and it drives all of the decisions we make. We know that the families of our students expect the same and work to support this same commitment at home.
